About the author…
Hello! My name is Susan Parsons. Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog. I was a pastor’s wife for 36 years and God taught me so much through life and ministry. About a year and a half ago, God called my husband, Tim, home to heaven. This was an unexpected, unforeseen journey but I can honestly say that God is good! He has been faithful and has been growing me!
We go through all sorts of unforeseen journeys in our lives. We feel lost. We feel confused. We even sometimes feel abandoned, BUT we can always find peace in the fact that God is using our unforeseen journeys to grow us toward Him. He uses them to teach us and show us things about Himself.
I pray that as you read through the blogs God will show Himself to you. I pray that God will draw you close and you will feel His presence. You are not alone because God sees you. Whatever life may throw at you on your unforeseen journey, may you look upward and always remember that God. Is. Good.

When we lived in KY there was a Tim Parsons who was a youth pastor. Loved him and Susan deeply
We left that church shortly after for another
We moved in Dec 1997. If your that Susan we still have close contact with Paula Lyons. She’s turned out really well. Would love to know if your the same Parsons

Hi Linda… Yes this is the same Susan Parsons. We moved back to Lexington in 2005 and started Center Point Church. The church is still going strong. I miss Tim dearly, but God has been so faithful. I Pray you are doing well. (Sorry for the delayed response, I have not been on my blog for a bit.)
